We
Believe...
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible
and authoritative Word of God.
There is only one God, eternally existent
in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ,
In His virgin birth, In His sinless life, In His miracles, In
His vicarious and atoning death, In His bodily resurrection, In
His ascension to the right hand of the Father, In His personal
future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand
years.
In the Blessed Hope-the rapture of the
Church at Christ's coming.
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely
essential for personal salvation.
The redemptive work of Christ on the cross
provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according
to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit
by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
In the resurrection of both the saved and
the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting
damnation.
Prayer For The Sick
Accepting the ultimate authority of the Scripture, we practice
praying for the sick and believing God for supernatural, miraculous
healings.
Baby Dedication
The Baby Dedication Service is a symbolic act of parents giving
their child to God. Recognizing the child to be God's gift to
them, the child is then returned to the parents with the responsibility
of raising that child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Water Baptism
The experience of Water Baptism is encouraged for all who have
accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. The act of immersion is documented
in Scripture as the pattern which Christ asked us to follow.
We believe in Water Baptism as an outward identification
of salvation, identification with Christ in His death and resurrection,
and symbolic of our death to the sinful nature of man and resurrection
to new life in Jesus Christ.
We are baptized in obedience to Jesus' command
that all believers be baptized.
Classes which give complete information concerning
water baptism are conducted one week prior to water baptism services.
Communion
The celebration of Communion is a symbolic reenactment of Jesus'
distribution and comments during the last Passover feast which
he celebrated prior to His death and resurrection. The elements
of juice and unleavened bread are symbolic of His shed blood and
'broken' body. The celebration of communion is open to all who
have accepted Christ as their personal savior
